On Wednesday, the Nationals beat the Astros 6-2 in Houston. Houston’s Zack Greinke was pitching a 2-0 shut-out in the seventh inning when Washington’s Anthony Redon hit a solo home run. After walking the next batter, Astro’s coach A.J. Hinch made a big mistake by taking Greinke out of the game. Greinke had only thrown 70 pitches and had given up just two hits and one run. He’s a veteran pitcher and could have weathered the brief seventh inning storm. After his removal, the Astro’s Will Harris gave up two more runs and The Nationals scored in every other inning. A little more trust and patience in Greinke might have clinched an Astro’s victory.
Good reporting. I wish Brewers could have another chance at the Nationals.

Great analysis! Although, as a Royals fan, I was happy to see Hinch make that call.

I missed the game because of time zone differences. It is cool to be able to read the summary here.
